Hello and welcome to my purpose in life, my creations. This is me at the tender age of 64 but loving life. I have 2 sons who in turn gave me 2 and 3 grandchildren and the first Granddaughter gave me 3 great grandsons. SO FAR. 🙂
I’ve lived in my town for 45 years. Loving Vermont, MOST of the time because it’s just beautiful here. I’m interested in always bettering myself and making something new all of the time.

My name is Carol and I’m a Great Gramma sharing with all my viewers my purpose in life, to be creative in all that I do not just “things” but all interactions in life. It’s fun and gives reason. My most favorite thing is Shadow boxes as you’ll see in this blog. I like always bettering myself in everything I do and “upgrading” as well everything I do. My personal creations are in this blog. Enjoy, ask questions, express concerns and leave comments. My website will be about “kits!”
In this particular blog page you see some of my shadow box creations and other fun items. The top ones are made from gourds! The one at the bottom and to the left is the very first one I ever made at the age of 15 and purchased from the Handcraft Club. The box just below this paragraph is a lovely Victorian piece.
The next one down is a 60’s kitchen. At the bottom and to the left is a Bingo shadow box in memory of my beautiful mother who passed April 13th, 2013. She sure did love Bingo, the next one is a 1920’s flapper collection of fun things. I just finished designing Winter in Vermont. My challenge now is the 2 gourds, one shaped as an apple and the other a huge rattle!
I will be offering later on “kits” for everyone to purchase and enjoy not just shadow boxes but for pillows, dolls, jewelry, crocheted and loom knits. Kits are the “IN” thing these days as people don’t have to think, about what to do or what to get and measure for their crafts.
My FUN places to shop for my craft items links are between each photo at the top of this blog. I hope you all use one, two or all of these and more. The travel is about the same for each area where the craft shops are and it depends on which day of the week and or what I’m feeling at any given day and if I’m creative a little or full force.
It’s time to relax! I believe in meditation to help build and live all of life Check out these videos of meditation provided for all of my viewers. I don’t know who uses any of them but I’ve also added links to some fun places to look at and partake in. Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, You tube and google links. I use some of these, not all and Pinterest is excellent for ideas and crafts or creations!
